DESCRIPTION:This event is designed for 9th–12th grade students and introd
 uces them to the field of education. OBU faculty and preservice teachers w
 ill have hands-on activities and sessions focused on teaching students of 
 all ages. Bus parking is available\, and we encourage you to invite any st
 udent interested in education—we offer teaching degrees for students of 
 all interests.\n\nFree to attend! The event is free to attendees thanks to
  funding provided by an Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Teache
 r Education Grant.\n\nThree hands-on sessions will be available focused on
  teaching children of all ages.Breakouts include subjects such as art\, ma
 th\, music\, reading\, science\, Spanish\, special education and theatre. 
 We will also go over financial support options specifically for future edu
 cators in Oklahoma such as the Inspired to Teach Scholarship and the TEACH
  Grant. A special breakout session for accompanying P-12 faculty and admin
 istrators are available.
